MASS MoCA
Mar 2011-Jan 2012
Sprague was inspired by the Sprague Electric Co.’s original logo and materials, found in various nooks and crannies all over the current MASS MoCA campus. Sprague Electrice inhabited the old mill buildings from 1942–1985; read more about the history here.
The typeface includes four weights and punctuation, while lowercase and numerals are still in the works. Check out the blog post about the typeface development and design, and then head on over to The Lost Type Co-op to download the typeface for yourself.
Special thanks to Matt Cassity (and everyone at MASS MoCA) for their support, as well as the amazing folks over at The Lost Type Co-op for their interest in promoting and distributing Sprague.
